On Tuesday, May 30, join associate Elizabeth Hill for the next CU Grow session on conflict resolution.ÌýHosted by Human Resource's group, the topic is one that willÌýbenefit current and aspiring managers and leaders from all divisions of campus.
The seminarÌýwill identify conflict for what it is and what it is not, evaluating situations and issues from multiple perspectives, and then apply conflict-resolution strategies, including a framework for navigating difficult conversations. The objective is to shift the paradigm with conflict and improve conflict-resolutionÌýcompetence of university managers and leaders.Ìý
Hill, who is facilitating the session, joined Ombuds as an associate in May 2016. Before joining the CU Boulder Ombuds Office, she served as an Arizona assistant attorney general, assistant Ombudsman for the state of Arizona and Ombudsman for Apollo Education Group.
Hill is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law and earned her BSÌýfrom Northern Arizona University. She is a trained mediator with experience in work-place disputes. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, International Ombudsman Association, American Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution SectionÌýand is actively involved in the Section of Dispute Resolution'sÌýOmbuds committee.
