As St. Patrick's Day approaches, we'd like to encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly, and to take steps to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.

  • If you are out at night,Ìýit is harder for drivers to see you. Wear light colors.
  • Remember to be a good neighbor: keep your guests inside and your noise levels down. If you are hosting a party off-campus, please register your party with Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations by noon on Friday in UMC 313. .
  • You can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence from CUPD and Boulder PD.
  • If you are of ageÌýand plan to drink, avoid mixing alcohol with other substances (like prescription drugs and marijuana) and drink plenty of water too.
  • Use the buddy system. Always walk with somebody,Ìýdon't leave friends alone while out at night, and remember to tell yourÌýfriends, family and/or roommatesÌýwhere you are going.
  • Look out for each other and call for help if you're concerned, even if that means making the hard call.
