The University of Colorado at Boulder campus will be closed on Friday, Dec. 29, for all but essential employees due to hazardous weather conditions, according to Provost and Acting Chancellor Phil DiStefano.

The CU-Boulder campus also is scheduled to be closed on Monday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day and is expected to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Employees are advised to monitor local news reports, check the campus Web site at or call the CU-Boulder Info Line at (303) 492-5500 for possible updates. Spring semester classes start on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

CU-Boulder was closed at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 28, and on Dec. 21 and the afternoon of Dec. 20 following a blizzard that hit the Front Range last week.Ìý
