University of Colorado at Boulder Chancellor G.P. “Bud” Peterson announced that due to the ongoing hazardous travel conditions in Boulder and across the Front Range, he has enacted the following measures for Thursday,Dec. 21:

· In order to allow students who are on campus or who can safely travel to campus to complete their fall coursework, semester exams will continue as scheduled on the Boulder campus tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 21). Due to travel conditions, faculty and students should exercise judgment and caution in considering whether they can safely travel to and from campus;

· Non-essential staff and those not administering examinations should not report to work until normal university operations resume on Friday;

· Â鶹ÒùÔº unable to attend an exam should contact their instructor to make necessary arrangements for completing semester coursework;

· The CU residence halls are scheduled to close at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22. Â鶹ÒùÔº living in residence halls who experience travel delays due to the weather should contact their residence hall director as soon as possible;

· It is anticipated that CU-Boulder’s Norlin Library will be open Thursday beginning at 8 a.m.

· All departmental and college graduation ceremonies scheduled for Thursday are canceled. General commencement ceremonies scheduled for Friday are currently planned to proceed as scheduled;
