"Spectacle and Illusion," the winning project of the Colorado Creed's Community Betterment competition, debuts at CU's Old Main Theater on Nov. 4th and Nov. 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. nightly. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and children.

Â鶹ÒùÔº are producing, promoting and starring in the Las Vegas style magic and illusion show, which could raise as much as $10,000. All ticket sales benefit the American Cancer Society.

The show's illusionist, Aaron Eisenberg, is a CU-Boulder student. "Coloradoans rarely get to experience a large-production magic show like they might see in Las Vegas," said Eisenberg. "I saw this as an opportunity to bring that type of entertainment here, as well as impact the community in a very positive way."

Eisenberg intends to perform in Las Vegas after graduation.

"Spectacle and Illusion" combines stunning illusions with contemporary music and dance, as well as rock-concert lighting and sound. The show strikes a balance between grand illusions and jaw dropping close-up miracles. As audiences are entertained with magic, humor and dance, the phenomena happening before their eyes appear to be unexplainable.

CU-Boulder, through the Colorado Creed, is promoting the event with student emails to generate interest among the university community. Â鶹ÒùÔº are donating time to place fliers at local businesses and distribute handbills at other local events in the Boulder community. Â鶹ÒùÔº also work the shows as ticket takers, ushers and theatrical technicians.

The Colorado Creed is a student-initiated social responsibility code at CU-Boulder. Additional information can be viewed at .
