Professor Michael Tracey of the University of Colorado at Boulder, whose work on the JonBenet Ramsey murder case led the Boulder County District Attorney's Office to the arrest of John Mark Karr, said he will decline more media interviews until he feels the time is right.

Tracey is a professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Tracey said it is important now that people respect the judicial process and make no judgments about the guilt or innocence of the suspect until more information is available. Tracey said he has high praise for the work of investigators in the DA's office.

Tracey wishes to resume working on a book about the 10-year-old investigation. He also is planning to write and produce one or two television documentaries, in addition to the three he released earlier on the case.
