Nearly 1,000 fifth-grade students from area schools will attend the 14th annual Water Festival on May 16th at the University Memorial Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the CU-Boulder campus.

The Water Festival is a hands-on way for students to discover where drinking water comes from. Events will be held in the UMC as well as the Cristol Chemistry and Biochemistry Building and the Hellems Arts and Sciences Building.

The festival is sponsored by the city of Boulder, the Watershed Approach to Stream Health (WASH) Project, the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, CU-Boulder University Memorial Center and Office of Community Relations, the Bureau of Reclamation, and Wild Oats Markets.
