University of Colorado at Boulder

On Sunday, Nov. 20, several flyers with racist messages were distributed on the Boulder campus, apparently the work of a national organization called National Vanguard as noted on the flyers. CU-Boulder and other campuses around the country have been leafleted in the past by similar organizations with similar messages.

In this most recent incident, the flyers were discovered by a reference librarian in Norlin Library, where they were posted on office doors, slid under office doors and left on library shelves. Some were also found under doors in the Ketchum Arts and Sciences Building.

We deplore the racist content of the flyers, which were removed immediately. An investigation is under way by the University of Colorado Police Department. We ask anyone who might have information to contact UCPD at (303) 492-8168.
