The University of Colorado at Boulder physics department will host the American Physical Society's Four Corners section meeting on Oct. 14-15. The conference begins at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the Duane Physics building and will include talks and presentations by researchers and students.

The meeting is popular among undergraduate and graduate physics students from universities throughout the Four Corners region and gives them an opportunity to present their work. Talks will cover numerous topics including astrophysics, atmospheric physics, condensed matter physics and particle physics.

The American Physical Society is a professional physics organization with more than 43,000 members and is based in College Park, Md.
