University of Colorado at Boulder officials expect parking on campus to be at a premium for the Sept. 3 CU-CSU football game at Folsom Field and suggest that fans consider alternative transportation and parking for the 1:30 p.m. game.

Public parking lots on campus will open at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Parking also will be allowed on designated recreation fields, weather permitting. Costs for parking on campus is $20 per vehicle.

CU football games can draw more than 4,000 vehicles to the campus creating congestion and parking problems. Parking services officials suggest taking the Regional Transportation District's BuffRide service to the game.

Riders can get on the SKIP at the Boulder downtown bus terminal at 14th Street and Walnut Street every 15 minutes. After the game riders can board the SKIP at Broadway and 16th Street across from the University Memorial Center.
