The annual University of Colorado at Boulder Off-Campus Housing Fair will be held Wednesday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the University Memorial Center's Glenn Miller Ballroom.

The event allows students, faculty and staff to collect information on housing opportunities from a variety of property management companies and landlords, according to Susan Stafford, director of the Student Organizations Finance Office of the University of Colorado Student Union.

"Vacancy rates are higher this year and the fair is a great opportunity for students to take a good look at the rental market," Stafford said. "This provides a 'one stop shop' for students who are looking to educate themselves about the rental market, not only in Boulder but in Louisville, Superior and Longmont."

The city of Boulder also will have representatives from rental licensing, zoning, environmental enforcement, community mediation services, fire and police to provide information about tenant responsibilities such as trash and snow removal, noise ordinances and how to be a good neighbor.
