The many missions of the space shuttle Columbia, including its tragic final mission, will be discussed at the University of Colorado at Boulder's Fiske Planetarium on Friday, Jan. 30, at 7:30 p.m.

Rob Morris, an astronomy educator at Fiske Planetarium, will present his show, "Memories of Columbia."

During the show, Morris will talk about the nation's first space shuttle, its many achievements over the years and its last mission. The space shuttle Columbia broke apart on Feb. 1, 2003, killing all seven astronauts on board, including CU-Boulder alumna Kalpana Chawla.

Telescopes will be available for free public use after the show at the Sommers-Bausch Observatory, adjacent to the planetarium. Admission for the show is $5 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for children and seniors.
