PHOTO OPPORTUNITY

Photographers are welcome to take photos of students, faculty or staff members getting flu vaccinations today from 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wardenburg Health Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Wardenburg Director Robert Cranny is encouraging students, faculty and staff members to participate in Thursday's annual flu and meningitis clinic.

According to Dr. Thomas Kunstman, the CU-Boulder clinic has confirmed four cases of Type A influenza from walk-in cases this morning. All of the confirmed cases are of CU-Boulder students.

Tomorrow, CU-Boulder clients can be immunized at the flu and meningitis clinic between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. Cost of the meningitis vaccine is $90 and the flu vaccine is $20. The American College Health Association recommends college students consider getting the flu vaccine "to avoid disruption of academic activities."
