CEOs and executives of Time Warner Telecom, BEA Systems, Procter & Gamble and other leading companies will discuss lessons learned from their successful business careers with CU-Boulder students at lectures throughout the fall semester.

The Fortune 500 executives and entrepreneurs will speak at class lectures of the Profiles in Business and Society course, which has been offered at the University of Colorado at Boulder since 1988.

"The speakers talk to students about their successes and failures and help them make the most of their education and career opportunities," said Kristen Hislop, director of the program in the Leeds School of Business.

The speakers offer students exposure to real-world business experiences and issues. The course is a requirement for business majors.

The speeches are open to the public on a space-available basis. They are presented in room 100 of the Mathematics Building on the CU-Boulder campus. If that room is full, the speeches also may be viewed via a live video feed in room G1B30 in the Duane Physics building. Room G1B30 is located on the ground level of the G wing in the physics building.
