CU-Boulder's 2003 real estate conference -- "Get Over It!" -- will be held Feb. 27 at the Hyatt Regency in Denver from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.Ìý

The annual conference, presented by the Leeds School of Business Real Estate Center, will address current economic trends and public sector and mixed-use development. Two panel discussions will focus on what's hot in today's market in both north and south metro Denver.

Michael Kercheval, president and CEO of the International Council of Shopping Centers, will present the keynote address at noon. The ICSC is the global trade association of the shopping center industry with 39,000 members in the United States, Canada and 70 other countries. Kercheval is responsible for the management of ICSC's global operations and for carrying out the association's strategic objectives.

"In this economic climate, Colorado's real estate market is experiencing significant volatility," said Byron Koste, director of the CU-Boulder Real Estate Center. "This conference will address economic trends as well as redevelopment efforts in the north, south and central areas of Denver."
