Barry and assistant coach La Tonya Watson will conduct a basketball mini-clinic on June 25 at the CU Recreation Center. Watson, an African American, also will speak to the students during lunch about her life experiences and becoming assistant coach.

"We attempt to build learning experiences in science and technology around the girls' existing strengths and interests in topics like basketball and health," said Professor Margaret Eisenhart, director of "Simply the Best!" and co-sponsor of the computer camp.Ìý

"Simply the Best!" is an after-school program that runs during the school year for the Five Points neighborhood in Denver.

The Ceal Barry Computer Camp focuses on teaching students how technology and health can impact their lives for the better. Other departments involved in the activities of the five-day camp include the Leeds School of Business; anthropology; molecular cellular and developmental biology; the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory; the Howard Hughes Medical Institute; the Pre-Collegiate program; the Office of Admissions; and the athletics department.
