With a close to capacity turnout expected for the first University of Colorado at Boulder football game of the season, students planning to move onto campus Aug. 26th should anticipate delays in traffic and a shortage of parking.

CU-Boulder classes start Monday, Aug. 27. Â鶹ÒùÔº who plan to move into campus residence halls Sunday, Aug 26, are advised to do so early in the day to avoid traffic and parking congestion.

Parking attendants will do their best to direct move-in students to locations near the residence halls, according to the Office of Parking and Transit Services. Â鶹ÒùÔº will be permitted to park in front of residence hall buildings, temporarily, in order to unload their belongings.

The game, versus Fresno State, starts at 6 p.m. and people attending the game are expected to arrive throughout the day. It is recommended that people planning to attend the game arrive by at least 4 p.m. to help minimize congestion.

Parking on campus will cost $7 and will affect all main campus parking lots. Parking and Transit Services recommends carpooling and use of public transportation because of limited parking on campus. The city of Boulder shuttle system and the RTD will both be on their regular schedules that day.
