Former residence hall advisers and housing staff members at the University of Colorado at Boulder are invited to a first-ever reunion of those groups during the Oct. 12-13 Back to Boulder Weekend on campus.

CU-Boulder's Housing Department is trying to locate all former Resident Advisers, or RAs, and housing staff to include them in the events. The Housing Department, in conjunction with the Alumni Association, is hosting the Resident Adviser Roundup reunion.

Former employees who plan to return for the weekend and go to the game, versus Texas A&M, should contact Patsy Tyler of the Housing Department by the end of August. People who plan to attend and want to be included in the event brochure need to contact Tyler no later than Sept. 15, however, interested persons can still sign up after that date.

Events for RAs will include an evening party Oct. 12 at the University Club with the Toybox Band and a picnic Oct. 13 for former RAs, their guests and family at the Williams Village residence hall. Other activities will include games and prizes, face painting, a visit from "Chip" the buffalo and a hospitality area where people can mingle.

RAs also will be invited to participate in Back to Boulder events, including tours of residence halls, schools and colleges, a pep rally on the Hill, a hike, a chance to win a trip to London, a pre-game party and the CU-Texas A&M game.

The Housing Department has more than 800 names in its database, including staff members from the 1950s but the department is hoping to locate more former RAs for the roundup.

People who have information on former RAs are asked to contact Tyler at (303) 735-2756, by email at ptyler@housing.colorado.edu or by fax at (303) 492-4646. Contact Tyler by mail at Housing Department, 154 UCB, Boulder, CO 80309-0154.
