With about 20,000 people expected to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder commencement exercises May 11 at 9:30 a.m. in Folsom Stadium, attendees should plan to arrive early.

The majority of parking for the commencement ceremony will be in lot 436 on Regent Drive, just south of Colorado Avenue. Close-in parking and drop-off for those with difficulty walking will be along Colorado Avenue south of the stadium. Those wanting to access the drop-off area should do so well before the student procession reaches the stadium. The student procession begins at 9 a.m. Parking attendants will be on duty to answer questions and direct traffic to available spots.

The city of Boulder's local shuttle services, the HOP and SKIP buses, which run about every 10 minutes, will be operating the morning of the ceremony and cost 75 cents. For more information about the HOP call (303) 447-8282 and for the SKIP call (303) 299-6000.

Meters on campus are free the morning of commencement. Additional parking is also available in the Euclid Autopark, a pay parking lot on Euclid Avenue just off Broadway on the Boulder campus.

Additional information about campus parking is available on the Web at or by calling (303) 492-2322.
