The University of Colorado at Boulder will present its 36th annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook Forum at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11.

The 2001 economic forecast, held in the grand ballroom of Denver's Brown Palace Hotel, is free and open to the public.

Presented by the CU-Boulder College of Business and Administration, the forum addresses the state of Colorado's economy. More than 70 key Colorado business, education and government leaders have provided input for the report. A free booklet detailing the report and featuring 11 industry sectors will be available at the forum.

The forecast will be presented in a series of graphic displays narrated by Professor Richard Wobbekind, director and chief economist of the college's Business Research Division, and by CU Finance Professor John Lymberopoulos.

A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation featuring Patty Silverstein, Development Research Partners; Nancy McCallin, Office of State Planning and Budgeting, and Wilson Kendall, Center for Business and Economic Forecasting.

Larry Jones, president and chief executive officer of MessageMedia Inc., will give the keynote speech after the panel.

The forum concludes with panel sessions. Following is a list of session topics and moderators.
