African Dance and Music Nov. 17
The Women's Resource Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder will host a night of African Dance and Music on Friday, Nov. 17, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Bantaba Dance Studio, 691 S. Broadway, in Boulder.
Maputo Mensah of Ghana will lead the Ghanaian dance and music by Logo Legi. The event, in partnership with Bantaba World Dance, will help to buy and update resources for the Women聮s Resource Center and its student peer groups.
Cost is based on a sliding scale of $10 to $25, but no one will be turned away for inability to pay.
The Bantaba Dance studio is located next to Saver's thrift store in the shopping center at the corner of Broadway and Table Mesa Drive.
