The Colorado Crew rowing team comprised of students from the University of Colorado at Boulder will hold a "rowathon" on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the Pearl Street Mall as part of CU Parent聮s Weekend.
The rowers will be located on the 1400 block of Pearl Street, near the Cheesecake Factory. Two students each will row a rowing machine for an hour, alternating with other members of the team. The rowathon will help support the self-funded, student-run team -- which has approximately 100 members -- and will offset management costs and help the group to purchase new boats.
