Fraternity and staff members from the University of Colorado at Boulder will distribute about 500 balloons to senior centers in Boulder on Friday, Sept. 29, following a day-long campus career fair at the Coors/Events Conference Center.

Several volunteers from the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and the CU-Boulder Office of Community Relations will deliver the black, gold and white balloons from the fair to senior centers and residence homes in Boulder. The balloons will be delivered Friday from about 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The volunteers will use a 44-passenger CU Buff bus to make the deliveries, departing from the Events/Conference Center about 4:30 p.m. and making stops at several locations including Frazier Meadows, Mary Sandoe House, Boulder Good Samaritan, Manor Care and The Academy.

Phi Kappa Psi members volunteered to deliver the balloons, in cooperation with staff members, as part of the fraternityÂ’s service mission.

Participating senior residences and centers and their addresses include: Frazier Meadows, 4950 Thunderbird Drive; Mary Sandoe House, 1244 Gillaspie Drive; Boulder Good Samaritan, 2525 Taft Road; Manor Care, 2800 Palo Parkway; and The Academy, 10 Street and Aurora Avenue.
