Construction work on the new Discovery Learning Center east of the CU-Boulder Engineering Center may cause traffic delays on Regent Drive during student move-in Aug. 22-23.
The far right southbound lane just east of the Engineering Center will be closed while construction crews dig out the foundation area for the new building. The lane is expected to reopen by the time classes start Aug. 28.
"Due to the construction along Regent Drive, there may be some traffic delays during the next week," said Jim Fadenrecht, the CU Police director of public safety.
Completion of the Discovery Learning Center will take about 17 months.
