What do a magician, star-crossed lovers, a ghost, three witches and a gossiping wife have in common? Shakespeare, of course, and the performance of, "Boy Meets Girl Meets Shakespeare."

The show will be performed at Eaton High School for students and faculty at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 29, incorporating scenes from "The Tempest," "Romeo and Juliet," "Hamlet," "Macbeth" and "Taming of the Shrew."

The performance, presented by the Colorado Shakespeare Festival's Living Shakespeare outreach program, will feature two professional actors from the CSF program. Â鶹ÒùÔº and teachers will get to see some of Shakespeare's best-known love scenes reenacted through sonnets, songs, sword-fighting and swift word play.

"This is a great program for introducing students to Shakespeare," said CSF education programs manager, Kate Pagel. "It's accessible, lively and very entertaining."

Living Shakespeare is a part of the CSF's touring outreach education program for middle school and high school students. The group regularly performs "Taming of the Shrew" and teaches acting workshops at middle schools and high schools throughout the state.

"Boy Meets Girl Meets Shakespeare" is adaptable to classrooms, gymnasiums and auditoriums and also will be presented at Delta High School on March 13 and in Montrose for high school and elementary school students on March 14 and 15.
