The Alumni Association of the University of Colorado at Boulder will hold Reunion Fest '97 the weekend of June 20-22.

About 400 alumni and families are expected to attend the weekend of events in Boulder for members of the graduating classes of 1987, 1982, 1977, 1972, 1967, 1962, 1957 and 1952. All CU alumni and friends are encouraged to attend.

The summer reunion offers everything from events at old campus “hangouts” to seminars on current topics and the Camp Ralphie for kids. Some featured events will include:

Friday, June 20

•Seminar topics including the future of undergraduate education at CU, analysis of Alfred Hitchcock's film "Strangers on a Train" and news from space with former NASA science team member Joe Romig, who represents the classes of 1963 and 1975.

•”Friday Afternoon Club” at the Sink and Tulagi with free snacks and drink specials.

Saturday, June 21

•Golf and tennis tournaments, including refreshments, gifts and prizes.

•Dance party with the Freddi-Henchi Band at the Fox Theatre on the Hill.

•Sinkburger family picnic and ice cream social.

•Reunion party at the Walnut Brewery.

REUNION FEST ‘97

Sunday, June 22

•Steak and eggs breakfast with a view on Flagstaff Mountain.

•Piano concert in honor of music Professor Emeritus Storm Bull at 2 p.m. in Grusin Music Hall of the Imig Music Building. The concert is open to the public.

Available all weekend will be Camp Ralphie for kids of CU alumni. Separate programs designed for kids ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 15 will include Science Discovery classes, an evening carnival, a pizza party and games at the CU Recreation Center.
