In a general sense I am interested in space, but not the kind you are thinking! Specifically I look into how organism/objects use and change the spaces in which they reside. My current thesis relates using Spatial Point Pattern Analysis to understand how sessile Ediacara biota competed with one another in some of earth's earliest ecosystems. Along with Spatial Ecology I also have major interests in geologic mapping/geospatial analysis, and applying its use to both academic and environmental problems. Other Areas of Research Interest Include (but are certainly not limited to):

  • ÌýPaleontology/PaleoecologyÌý

  • Spatial EcologyÌý

  • Planetary ScienceÌý

  • Impact Craters

  • Photogrammetry

  • Field GeologyÌý
