$5 daily staff and faculty parking promotion by Parking & Transportation Services /staffcouncil/2025/01/27/5-daily-staff-and-faculty-parking-promotion-parking-transportation-services $5 daily staff and faculty parking promotion by Parking & Transportation Services Katherine Lenkart Mon, 01/27/2025 - 14:52 Categories: Be informed

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is excited to announce that they will be continuing their popular $5 daily parking rate indefinitely.

Intended for faculty and staff who only need occasional parking on campus, the program allows users to purchase spaces in various available lots in advance for a discounted rate of $5 per day. Purchases can be completed via the . Additionally, step-by-step instructions are available on the Parking and Transportation Options page.

A few important things to remember:

  • You must be logged into the CU Boulder Parking Services portal to purchase your day permit. It will not work on the ParkMobile app or the CU-specific ParkMobile website used in previous semesters.
  • This rate applies to specific lots and is dependent on space availability. If possible, always check the parking portal for availability prior to parking in a specific lot.
  • Permits are available for purchase to accounts in good standing, meaning accounts with a $0 balance due. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact Parking Services directly to request an exemption.

We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues, and if this benefit has helped you, share that feedback with PTS. Positive feedback is always appreciated and is shared in discussions on continuing this program for future semesters.

It was wonderful to see so many of you in person at the Staff Appreciation Breakfast in December. What a lovely way to wrap up the Fall Semester! The event saw its largest attendance in several years with close to 1200 staff enjoying breakfast and community. Special thanks to campus leadership for volunteering and UMC catering for a wonderful spread. Additional thanks to all those who contributed donations for the food drive. The breakfast remains one of Staff Council’s most successful offerings and it is a highlight of our year. We look forward to seeing you at our next event and encourage you to explore the many ways to engage with Staff Council throughout the year by checking our event calendar.
