- On May 6th, at 6:00 p.m., Staff Council will host adventurer Scott Robinson for a travelogue of his 2019 five-month expedition down the Missouri River from Three Forks, Montana to St. Louis, Missouri. Scott will share photos and stories of this epic 2,341 mile journey. Follow the footsteps of Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery with the Corps of Rediscovery.
- On April 13th at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. OR 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. join LinkedIn and Employee Services for Rock Your Profile, an interactive learning experience that will give you tips and insights to make your LinkedIn profile stand out.
- CU Boulder Staff Council is excited to offer a new campus-wide Staff Recognition Program that the entire CU community can participate in. The nomination form is simple, and a way to recognize a staff member for going above and beyond, besides a usual “Thank You” email.
- Staff are invited to join local freelance artist Miranda Thomas on Tuesday, April 6th at 7 p.m. for a Staff Council sponsored painting workshop. Attendees will be guided step-by-step as they create their very own original Colorado nature scene.
- A large team of scientists from departments across campus†are studying how the SARS-CoV-2 virus is changing over time as it moves through our campus population. The CU Pandemic Study is enrolling people who are using the campus saliva testing sites, or plan to use them at some point in the future.
- During the month of March, CU Boulder Staff Council is proud to partner with Runners Roost to support three worthy causes to bring shoes, coats and food to people in need. And when you donate, you will receive a 15% discount on your in-store purchase.
- CU Boulder’s Farm Manager, Alex Macmillan is here to help get you started on your own garden! As we start moving toward spring weather, Staff Council Outreach & Events and Alex will host two sessions to help you plan and create your dream home-garden this year.
- Get Ready for Staff Council Game Night! Just because we can’t be together on campus doesn’t mean we can’t meet up virtually to play games and share some laughs with other Boulder Campus staff.
- CU Boulder Staff Council is excited to honor Linda Frueh Wellmann, who as of this year has served at CU Boulder for 50 years. Below is a short autobiography presented by Linda that highlights her time at CU and some of the wonderful memories she’s collected, as well as a note from CU Nobel Prize Laureate, Professor Carl Wieman.
