Coats for Colorado - Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who donated coats for making our 2019 Coats for Colorado coat drive a success! According to the 2020 Farmers’ Almanac, this winter will be a roller coaster with multiple ups and downs in the temperature. As a collective effort, Boulder Campus helped individuals in need of a coat brave this “polar coaster” by collecting over 400 coats.
System wide the university collected 637 coats! Truly, four campuses working together for one cause!
Staff Council is looking into holding this coat drive again in Fall 2020, but we need more volunteers to help us with taking care of placing and maintaining bins across campus, especially university areas away from the main campus. If you are interested in helping with the coat drive next year, please email us at staffcouncil@colorado.edu. It is never too early to start thinking of volunteering to help those in need.
