Luis Navarro聽is pushing the forefront of research in Earth鈥檚 extreme upper atmosphere to answer important and complex scientific questions.
Navarro, a research scientist in the聽Space Weather Technology, Research and Education Center (SWx TREC)聽at the University of Colorado Boulder, has earned a four-year, $700,000聽to investigate how space weather 鈥� coronal mass ejections and other activity from the sun 鈥� changes the ionosphere and thermosphere at low latitudes near the equator.
