Who Received This Announcement?
We shared this University Information Services (UIS) announcement in the Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, edition of the Registrar Network newsletter.

As we get closer to the time for the new Campus Solutions navigation (referred to as Fluid navigation) to go live in late October, University Information Systems (UIS) has asked us to forward on this message to solicit feedback.

The appropriate method to provide feedback is through the survey linked below. If you have issues accessing any of the links below, please let Lindsey (Lindsey.Apodaca@cu.edu) or Kim (Kimberly.Sethre@cu.edu) know.

Hello CU Academic Units,

Exciting changes are coming to CU-SIS this fall: The CU-SIS Campus Solutions administrative system that you use will soon have a new look and feel with a tile-based navigation, similar to what you see in your employee portal.

We have been working hard to design a view that will help you navigate quickly and easily to the CU-SIS pages you use most. Now, we want your feedback to ensure the new design work for you and to make the transition as easy as possible. These changes are scheduled to go live in late October.

We developed a tile specifically for the academic units, so you can quickly access pages you need and arrange them in one easy-to-navigate place. Keep in mind: You will still have access to the whole system through the NavBar (based on your security) just like you do now, and you will still have your favorites. You will no longer use breadcrumbs to navigate to specific pages, like you do now.

The “Resources for Schools/Colleges” tile will be the same for all departments and all campuses.

Based on feedback collected in March, we took developed the initial dashboard, and we would like to gather some consensus on the pages that are widely used.

Get a preview

We provided two ways to preview the system.

  1. Watch this 6-minute video , for an overview of the resources tile and subpages.
  2. to see detailed interactive dashboard screen shots to further examine the pages that live under each tile.

Share your feedback and suggestions

To provide your feedback, please by Aug. 11 to let us know if there are any frequently used pages you would like to add to the navigation collection. There is a question for each tile. If you do not use that tile, feel free to leave it blank.

Your feedback will help the project team assess the usage of these pages among this group on all campuses. Please note: We may not be able to accommodate all feedback immediately but will strive to incorporate it as we are able.

If you prefer, you can send an email directly to Lindsey.Apodaca@cu.edu and Kimberly.Sethre@cu.edu.

Thank you for your time, we can’t wait to get your feedback!

Sincerely,

Lindsey Apodaca & Kim Sethre
