CU Bike Program News
- There is still time to register for the Buffalo Bike Classic, which takes place on September 12th. Current registration costs $125, with proceeds providing scholarships for high-merit/high-need students. There are several route options and even a virtual ride. Register now to get involved!
- CU's annual Bike Fest returns this Tuesday! The event will take place on August 31st from 1:00-6:30 pm at Farrand Field. Stop by to enjoy free food, music, games, and the used bike sale!

- One of the best ways to prevent your bike from being stolen is the use of a quality u-lock. If you are currently using a cable lock, your bike is not secure! Stop by either of the CU Boulder bike stations to swap your cable lock for a u-lock, free of charge. And read the safety article further below to learn more useful tips.

-Folsom Bike Station: Closed for the summer. - If you have a bike that you no longer need or want, don't toss it in the trash! Unwanted bikes can be donated at the Folsom and UMC bike stations, where they will be refurbished and sold at the annual Bike Sale in the fall.Â

- Now is the time to register or update your bike registration! As of Spring 2021, CU has a new bike registration system powered by Bike Index, the leading nationwide bike registration platform. The new system has many benefits and registration only takes a few steps. So make sure to register or update your current registration!
