Spaced is an abstract, animated music video that I have created for one of my songs. I aimed to recreate what it feels like to be in a dream or what it feels like to be “spaced out.” Spaced can be described as an abstract music visualizer with the use of green screen animations and sticker assets. The brightly colored aspects of the video lend themselves to the dream-like state of the visuals as well as the tone of each scene. The misplaced animals and objects, such as the tiger running in the middle of the highway or the keyboards floating in the desert, represent the unpredictability and randomness of our dreams. Each and every scene should feel both exciting and uncertain, as well as give you an idea of what's happening in the song. My hope is that after watching, you will feel as though the song and the video were made perfectly for one another, almost as if they are one.
