The Future is Rowdy is a 60 second spec ad for Rowdy Mermaid Kombucha. A local company, Rowdy Mermaid has taken a strong stance as advocates for a better future, both socially and environmentally. This project was an exploration into combining advertising techniques and artistic expression, providing representation to young LGBTQ2+ couples that have traditionally been underrepresented in commercial media. After a long planning process, The Future is Rowdy is the fruition of my desire to understand more about current issues, while simultaneously creating a professional looking ad for YouTube and other streaming\social media platforms.
