Andrew Q. Philips is an Associate Professor and the Henry W. Ehrmann Professor in Law and Jurisprudence in the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is also a fellow at CU’s Institute of Behavioral Science. He received his Ph.D from Texas A&M University in 2017, and has published over 30 articles on topics ranging from methodology to political economy to gender and politics, including a coauthored 2023 Cambridge University Press book on the political economy of budgeting. His methodological interests include time series, panel data, compositional data and machine learning.
