Becoming a Scholar

About Teaching

Our graduate program at the University of Colorado Boulder is designed to enhance the teaching experience through teaching assistantships, part-time instructor roles, and the Graduate Teacher Program. This program helps students develop their teaching skills from the moment they begin their studies. Through workshops and activities, participants engage with diverse communities, improve their mentoring and advising skills, and learn evidence-based teaching methods. Graduates can earn a Certificate in College Teaching, a valuable credential recognized by over 80 research institutions and an asset for careers in higher education.
