Testimonial:

" I have had such an incredible experience with the PLC Alumni Match Program! Nikhil has truly been an amazing mentor and I have learned so much about real-world applications of leadership from him. It has been so beneficial for me to have an experienced and supportive mentor who has helped me navigate internships and connect me with other experts in the engineering field.â€

Being an alumni mentor in the PLC AMP is an opportunity to foster growth, offer guidance, and build strong relationships with students as they navigate their personal and professional journeys. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Actively Connect with Flexibility: Respond within a week of receiving the initial introduction from your mentee. We suggest connecting with your student(s) at least 2-3 times throughout the semester over phone, zoom, or in person. However, the level of engagement is flexible based on your and your student’s schedules.
  • Provide Insights: Share your career experiences, lessons learned, and insights into your industry. The students value real-world advice as they prepare to enter the workforce.
  • Be Supportive: Some students may feel uncertain or overwhelmed as they approach graduation. Your encouragement can help them gain confidence and clarity about their path.
