Research Interests: Areas of current research of Dr. Goldman center around linear and nonlinear wave phenomena excited in plasmas (ionized gases) by electron and radiation beams. New electrostatic and electromagnetic wave instabilities and their nonlinear evolution are studied analytically and numerically (using supercomputers).
