Teaching in Fall 2024: PHIL 1100: Introduction to Ethics
I’m in the PhD program, focusing on animal ethics. My supervisors are Michael Huemer and David Boonin.
Although my primary concentration is in applied ethics, I’m also very interested in moral demandingness, love, and meaning in life.
My writing has appeared in The Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy, The Journal of Value Inquiry, Journal of Social Philosophy, and elsewhere.
I received my B.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver, my M.A. in philosophy from the University of Tartu in Estonia, and also spent some time at Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
In my free time, I like to go on walks, play video games, watch movies, and make music. I am also an animal care volunteer at Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
