The CU Boulder Student Success Conference is jointly sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Education and the Division of Student Affairs. This annual event is open to all staff and faculty and serves as an opportunity to:

Call for Proposals听

The Student Success Conference is now accepting proposals for the 2025 conference. This year鈥檚 Conference Proposals Committee seeks innovative and high-impact topics that advance student engagement and success at CU Boulder. We invite staff and faculty practitioners to submit proposals that showcase compelling strategies, research findings, or successful programs that have enhanced student outcomes. 听

Call for Committees

Committee 1: Conference Proposals Committee听

The Conference Proposals Committee will be a key component of the conference planning process, tasked with reviewing and selecting proposals submitted for presentation at the event.听听

This group plays a crucial role in shaping the content and success of the conference, curating a range of topics and perspectives that reflect current trends in the field and ensuring that the conference delivers valuable and relevant insights to its participants.听听

Committee responsibilities:听

Create a rubric based on the Submission Guide and create an overall review process and timeline听
Brainstorm ideal types of proposals and create targeted recruitment strategies as needed听
Send call for proposal reminders and track engagement 听
Work with the Student Affairs Communication team to update website and build forms听
Review proposals听
Shape the conference schedule
Develop tracks/labels and ensure balance of types of sessions听
Partner with conference sponsors on overall vision听

Committee 2: Conference Awards Committee听

The Awards Committee will be responsible for recognizing and honoring exceptional contributions within the CU Boulder student success community. This could include outstanding service, innovations, research or achievements in the field, including as demonstrated in their work presented at the conference. This group plays a crucial role in celebrating high-impact student success practices across campus.听

Committee responsibilities:听

Create a rubric and overall timeline听
Brainstorm ideal types of awards and create targeted recruitment strategies as needed听
Work with the Student Affairs Communication team to create a nomination process and marketing strategy听
Review nominations听
Partner with Conference Proposals committee to identify promising practices and presenters听
Partner with conference sponsors on overall vision听

Details for Committees

Time commitment听

These听committees will be expected to work on this project from mid-October through mid-February听听
Co-chairs: Expect to allot 4-5 hours per week for work on a committee (on average)听
Committee members: Expect to allot 25 total hours to work on a committee听

Earn a $1500 stipend for the dedicated time you will commit to this project听
