Welcome new Buffs! Our team in New Student & Family Programs is excited to connect with you this summer as you make your transition to CU Boulder.ÌýÌý

All incoming students are required to attend New Student Orientation in June or July 2025.

Note: You must complete the Online Experience before attending your New Student Orientation. The Online Experience will be available beginning April 1, 2025.Ìý

What to ExpectÌý

On your first day of New Student Orientation you will begin connecting with Journey Leaders, meeting fellow new students, and you'll get to experience residential living with an overnight stay in our residence halls. Day 1 will be all about getting immersed in life as a CU Buff!

Your second day will focus more on learning about academics, campus resources and getting registered for fall classes. Day 2 will be all about getting ready for the start of fall semester!

Parents and FamiliesÌý

New Student Orientation isn’t just for our students – we hope to meet parents and families as well! We encourage you to participate to get your questions answered about your student’s CU Buff experience.ÌýÌý

Families can sign up for New Student Orientation when your students sign-up, they can list you as a guest. You will also have the option to choose an overnight stay in our residence halls if you want to get the full experience!ÌýÌý
