Prior to coming to CU, I worked in small satellite propulsion research for several years. I am currently co-advised on an aerospace project seeking to improve ionic liquid CO2 separation systems aboard spacecraft. My primary advisor is Professor Hendrik Heinz, whose research is in Molecular Dynamics simulations, which we are using to computationally model and optimize of novel liquids and materials. I am generally interested in enhancing conventional materials design via modern statistical and computational methods, and am guiding my dissertation publications in that direction.
