¸é²¹Ãº±ô Melgoza

Biography:
¸é²¹Ãº±ô is a PhD candidate in the Department of Ethnic Studies. He studies Chicanx (Mexican American) art and activism post-World War II, specifically addressing how Mexican Americans have engaged in cultural politics and social justice activism to articulate coalitional forms of racial justice. Before attending CU, he earned a BA in History from San Francisco State University and an MA in Chicana and Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge. ¸é²¹Ãº±ô is also currently an instructor in the Program for Writing and Rhetoric at CU, where he teaches courses on the US and Mexico border.
