Alexa Gonzalez is a first-generation student graduating with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EBIO). She has previously worked alongside many different organizations on campus throughout her undergraduate career as a Research Assistant at the Intermountain NeuroImaging Consortium, a Peer Counselor at the Pre-Collegiate Development Program, and as a Climbing Wall Monitor for Outdoor Pursuits. Apart from her education, Alexa is an outdoor enthusiast with hobbies such as climbing and backpacking and enjoys spending time with her roommates and friends on sunny days. Her triumphs as a first-generation college student could not have been accomplished without the support of the McNair scholars program, her peers, family, and friends. Sko Buffs!听
