has joined the faculty of the Department of Linguistics as an Assistant Professor, specializing in morphology and typology. Dr. Haynie's work targets language prehistory and some big questions about origins, and she is currently finishing up a post-doc in Language Diversity and Cultural Evolution at Colorado State University. As a third-generation Colorado native, she is excited to these collaborations and develop new projects as a member of our Department. She is teaching a graduate course in historical linguistics this fall.Â
