Originally from Hatteras Island, NC, Jonah received his degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following graduation, he spent two years as a Park Ranger at Shenandoah and the Grand Canyon beforeÌýbeing a legal assistant for a civil litigator. Meet the Class of 2027’s Jonah Dixon!Ìý
What inspired you to pursue a law degree?ÌýÌý
JD: TheÌýlaw impacts every person, creative endeavor, and business in the country and around the world. I want to pursue aÌýlaw degree becauseÌýI believe it will give me the skillset toÌýaid good people andÌýgood ideas.Ìý
What are your hobbies outside of work and school?ÌýÌý
JD: I enjoy playing basketball (go Nuggets!), hiking, and generally being active. I also enjoy playing music,Ìýspecifically bluegrass guitar and banjo.Ìý
Why did you choose Colorado law?ÌýÌý
JD: Boulder is a beautifulÌýtown, and I was interested in the environmental and indigenous programs here.ÌýOverall, I felt Colorado Law was an exciting program that I could see myself thriving in.ÌýÌý
What are you most looking forward to this upcoming academic year?ÌýÌý
JD: I am most looking forward to meeting my peers and the faculty, and exploring all that Colorado Law has to offer!Ìý
