Maxwell received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Neuroscience from the University at Buffalo in May of 2022. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Surtees, where he investigated the contribution of DNA mismatch repair factors to trinucleotide repeat expansions. Maxwell joined the Spencer Lab in May of 2023.Ìý
