Welcome. The Social Perception聽lab examines how we view one another and how social categories (such as ethnicity and gender) influence our perceptions. We examine questions like: Why do people have more trouble recognizing members of another race? Do members of other groups evoke a sense of threat? Does interpersonal contact with members of other groups alter the way we think about and act toward them?
