My research focuses on the accelerated development of advanced materials for renewable hydrogen production. Specifically, my work is focused on high-throughput computational discovery of perovskite oxide materials for solar thermochemical hydrogen production. My work leverages a combination of machine-learned descriptors, empirical and ab inito methods to prototype novel materials for use in energy applications. Although my work is primarily focused on discovering materials using computational tools, we work closely with experimental collaborators to synthesize and characterize the activity of these theoretically discovered materials.
